Feed the Family Vegetable Growing 10.30 – 12.30, Saturday, 25th April 2026

This is an introduction to vegetable growing to learn about the delights of growing vegetables and feeding the family with things from your own garden.

The workshops have a maximum of ten people and is aimed at beginners aged from 12 to 90 that want to add to their skills growing things to eat. Run by Peter, with a lifetime’s experience but still learning. This is advice, demonstration and practical experience, hopefully leaving you with the knowledge and enthusiasm to get started at home. One ticket per participant.

The course is 2 hours long 10.30 to 12.30, Saturday morning. You are welcome to arrive early and look around or stay after to enjoy the garden. We are here to answer your questions on the day or anytime after by email or message. You will take away seed and young plants to get you off to a quick start, though young plants choices depends on the weather and date of the course.
