DESCRIPTION:This is a free introduction to vegetable growing for residents of Saline and Steelend organised by the Gardening Club. \nThe workshops have a maximum of ten people and is aimed at beginners aged 12 and 90 that want to add to their skills growing things to eat. Run by Peter and Robert\, both with a lifetime’s experience but both still learning. This is advice\, demonstration and practical experience\, hopefully leaving you with the knowledge and enthusiasm to get started at home. One ticket per participant. \nThe course are 2 hours long 10-12 on a Saturday. You are welcome to arrive early and look around or stay after to enjoy the garden. We are here to answer your questions on the day or anytime after by email or message.

SUMMARY:Saline and Steelend Free Children's Gardening Event 10th May
DESCRIPTION:This is a free introduction to gardening for the children of Saline and Steelend organised by the Gardening Club. \nThe workshops have a maximum of eight children\, each accompanied by an adult. Children should be aged 7 – 12 years old. The aim is to inspire future gardeners\, show some basic gardening techniques\, give children some plants to take home and grow on. The course is run by Peter whose love of gardening since childhood has been part of creating the garden at Kirklands. One ticket per child\, parent/adult do not need a ticket. \nThe course is one and a half hours long 10.30 -12.00 on a Saturday morning. You are welcome to arrive early and look around or stay after to enjoy the garden. We are here to answer your questions on the day or anytime after by email or message. There is plenty for adults to see while the children are occupied. Refreshments provided.
