SUMMARY:Saline and Steelend Free Children's Gardening Event 10th May
DESCRIPTION:This is a free introduction to gardening for the children of Saline and Steelend organised by the Gardening Club. \nThe workshops have a maximum of eight children\, each accompanied by an adult. Children should be aged 7 – 12 years old. The aim is to inspire future gardeners\, show some basic gardening techniques\, give children some plants to take home and grow on. The course is run by Peter whose love of gardening since childhood has been part of creating the garden at Kirklands. One ticket per child\, parent/adult do not need a ticket. \nThe course is one and a half hours long 10.30 -12.00 on a Saturday morning. You are welcome to arrive early and look around or stay after to enjoy the garden. We are here to answer your questions on the day or anytime after by email or message. There is plenty for adults to see while the children are occupied. Refreshments provided.

DESCRIPTION:An Easter Egg hunt with a difference for children 10 and under. A treasure hunt\, following clue around the garden and woodland\, helping the Kirklands dragons\, Draco and Rubra find their lost eggs. Each child will receive a prize. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Adults free\, children £3. Reserve tickets on line\, one for each child\, adults do not require a ticket. Buying tickets on line helps us estimate numbers for children’s prizes. \nTeas\, coffee\, hot chocolate\, juice and cakes available in the marquee.
