Garden Tour Spring bulbs. Sunday 19th April 2026

In April the garden bursts into life with a carpet of spring flowers. Wood anemones, trilliums, fritillaries erythroniums and lots more with a backdrop of magnificent rhododendrons.

Stroll around the garden with Peter to see the large clumps of yellow anemone ranunculoides and the hidden treasures of erythronium hendersonii. There are hundreds of trillium grandiflora but you may miss the hidden flowers of trillium rugelei. The tour has a maximum of eight people so you can ask about every individual plant or just enjoy the spectacle.

The tour starts at 2.30 and takes about an hour followed by tea, coffee and home made cakes and a chance to buy some of the treasures you have seen around the garden at 10% discount.
